About Dr. Murphy
Dr. Haley Murphy, Ph.D. is a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 31276) who graduated with her doctorate (PhD) from Virginia Tech. Dr. Murphy completed an APA-accredited internship followed by a APA-accredited post-doctoral fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychology at Harbor UCLA. During her academic training, Dr. Murphy was certified as research-reliable on the ADOS-2 and ADI-R, two gold-standard tools of autism assessment. Dr. Murphy has also published journal articles and presented research papers on a number of topics including Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluation, assessment, and treatment, and therapeutic routine-outcome monitoring (ROM).
Dr. Murphy is well versed and experienced in a number of evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Management Treatment (PMT), and is certified as a Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist, following the UC-Davis model.
